The Executive Vice President Nigeria and Country Chair, Shell Companies in Nigeria, Marno de Jong, while commenting on the Company’s contributions in Nigeria over the years said that Shell has been powering progress in Nigeria for more than 60 years, through its businesses and social investments. He said the Final Investment Decisions on Bonga North and HI projects already bear lots of testimonies to their commitment to the development of the country. “Our exhibition at this conference even tells this story of progress and partnership”, Marno de Jong said.
Shell, a Titanium sponsor of the event, said it was ony complimenting its support and participation with an exhibition on the full range of its businesses in Nigeria namely, Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Ltd (SNEPCo), Shell Nigeria Gas, All On and Daystar Power Limited.
Shell spoke on, “Revitalizing the Nigerian Petroleum Exploration and Production Strategies for Energy Security and Sustainable Development.”
Many key industry stakeholders visited Shell’s field-like pavilion at the exhibition even as Senior Production Geoscientist & Subsurface Integrator, Abidemi Belgore took them on a brief walk round the pavilion, showing and giving them elementary lecture series on certain features around Shell’s deep-water production, domestic gas distribution, and empowerment of businesses through provision of renewable energy and other power solutions.
