APR Energy Extends Power Gig in Angola

APR Energy signed an extension agreement in Angola to prolong its power generation contract for the next six months.

The extension is aimed at providing 40 MW of power at the Rocha Pinto site near Luanda.

APR Energy launched the first mobile gas turbine project in sub-Saharan Africa in 2013 via an initial contract with Angola’s state-owned utility Rede Nacional de Transporte. APR Energy also operates a 40-MW facility at the Morro Bento site near Luanda.
