While on Official duty, in China, with President Bola Tinubu, an MOU was signed with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), to implement solar power systems across several tertiary institutions, including Lagos State University and its campuses, Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Lagos State University of Education, and Lagos State College of Medicine.
These solar systems, expected to generate about 50 MW, will provide cleaner and more affordable electricity, demonstrating a commitment to
sustainable energy as a key component of economic development.
The signing was witnessed by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
