Despite substantial LPG consumption growth, challenges like inadequate infrastructure, affordability, and accessibility persist. The conference and expo aim to address these challenges by facilitating connections and information sharing among key LPG leaders, fostering sustainable growth in the Southern and East Africa LPG market.
The event will take place in Mozambique, a country at the forefront of adopting LPG as a clean cooking source in both Southern and East regions. Mozambique’s commendable efforts make it the ideal host for this event, with ambitious plans to generate an annual output of 30,000 tonnes of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) starting this year. Mozambique is positioned to achieve a substantial 70% reduction in imports, concurrently fostering increased demand for LPG within its borders.
